Some of the tips to get beautiful and supple skin without exerting too much effort are as follows:

Keep Hydrated

Always keep your body hydrated by taking more fluids. Apart from keeping you healthy, water can also keep your skin shining. Drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water everyday. Water will clean the impurities in your body and prevent your skin from getting dry. You can also keep your body hydrated by consuming other fluids like green tea, fruit juices, energy drinks, etc. Green tea and Black tea contain tannins which improve the elasticity of your skin. Try to take more fluids during the morning time as your body can absorb them better. Eating and drinking in the morning will improve your circulation and skin tone. But be careful to add less sugar when you drink juice or tea or else use sugar free sweeteners.

Use Mild Soaps, Fragrances and Moisturizers

Use mild soaps, lotions, and moisturizers to clean and moisturize your skin. High powered soaps and moisturizers have strong chemicals which can damage your skin. High powered fragrances and dyes when applied to skin directly can cause allergic reactions to your skin and make it look red and swollen. So, apply fragrances and deodorants to your clothes to avoid direct skin contact. If your have the habit of using astringents and toners, use such products during the night time and only once in a few days to prevent your skin from getting irritated.

Eat More Fruits and Vegetables

Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables regularly. Fruits and vegetables contain some crucial minerals which can keep your skin healthy and glowing. You can also eat fruits and vegetables along with their skin if they are edible, as these skins contain pectin and other crucial minerals which can help your skin cells to repair themselves. Fruit and Vegetable skins also have Vitamin E which keeps the epidermis of your skin healthy.

Exfoliate your Skin

Exfoliate your skin at least once in a week or when ever your skin looks dull and dry. Moderate exfoliation is good for your skin as it removes all the dirt, grime, and soap scum in a much better way than superficial washing. Exfoliate your skin using a soft washcloth or gentle loofah pad. Harsh and over exfoliation of your skin using rough brushes or scrubs can rub your skin raw and damage it.

Avoid Sun Exposure and Use Organic Sunscreens

Always try to avoid long hours of exposure to sun whenever it is feasible. Too much Sun exposure can tan your skin more than is good and can make it look old. UVA and UVB in the sunlight are known for causing irreparable damage to skin. If you need to go out during sunshine, use umbrellas, sunglasses, caps, and hats to limit your exposure to sunlight. Use organic and chemical free sunscreens if you are exposed to skin for more than an hour even during winters. Sunburns can expedite the onset of wrinkles and damage your skin. Severe skin burns can also increase the risk of skin cancer.

Massage your Skin Regularly

This is one of the most important factors to gain an attractive looking skin. A regular facial massage for 5-10 minutes is advisable to rejuvenate your skin. Massage can improve the blood circulation in your body and give a nourished look to your skin. Use an oil or petroleum based moisturizer for massaging your skin if you live in a place with arid climate. And use a light, water based lotion if you live in a humid climate. These preferred lotions will maintain the balance of water in your skin.

As you might have observed, keeping the above tips in mind is not so hard to gain a healthy and beautiful looking skin. Apart from the above tips, maintaining a positive outlook and an optimistic approach towards your life can greatly help in maintaining a healthy and supple skin without putting too much effort.
