HOW TO MAKE YOUR DREAM LIFE YOUR REALITY

But aside from food nutrition there is an equally as important aspect to coaching. Life Coaching is an integral part of helping people feel more in balance and regaining control over their lives to steer themselves in the direction of their dreams. As a holistic Health Coach I always want to get my clients to also look at their current life situation and their feelings towards it. Then we go about making an action plan to turn the ‘cants’ into ‘can’s’!!

In my work as a Nutrition & Health/wellness coach I meet people all the time who’s biggest fear is that life is passing them by and they haven’t achieved what they want. The key obstacles can be time, finance, other commitments etc…… BUT the biggest one of all is FEAR. Yes fear of not being good enough is the number one factor why many people push their life dreams to the side and plod on with eyes half shut. But it doesn’t need to be this way……Below are some key pointers that if you consciously follow will empower and guide you to create the dream life you deserve.

 

 

 

* DONT DELAY CHANGE

 

Get out there and have a go!! If it’s a new hobby, dating group or language just take the plunge. If its something you want in your life you have to bring it in.

 

* WORK OUT WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

 

Its the simple things in life that make us happy- being healthy, happy and loved. Write a list of all the things that make you truly happy. Long term happiness isn’t the same as that rush you get from a new pair of shoes……cause that is a transient happy. Happiness depends not on what we have, but how we feel about what we have.

 

* DARE TO DREAM

 

Making a dream or visualisation board to manifest your chosen life is a great way to dare to dream. Make a list of the obstacles that stand in the way of you and your dream life and work on one at a time. This way it won’t seem like such a huge task. Remember –there is always a way and if you want something hard enough you can move mountains.

 

* CUT THE EXCUSES

 

People normally blame all the usual things ie: time, money,people, past set backs but this is counter productive. Dont think about the past and your failings simply be present in the moment NOW. The power of now is potent.

 

* NETWORK WITH SUPPORTIVE PEOPLE

 

Rome wasn’t built in a day and certainly not single hadedly. Make sure you get out and about to meet people who share similar dreams to yourself. Shares hobbies and interests will open up your world and the contacts had help you achieve your dream life.

 

* Quit Moaning

 

It takes alot more energy to moan than it does to smile. It also releases stress hormones into your blood and blocks serotonin which is the feel good hormone. A great Buddhist approach is to always think of somebody who is worse off than yourself, this I promise will get things into perspective for you.

 

* DONT SWEAT THE SETBACKS

 

Setbacks are well annoying but they can also be viewed as testes of your endurance. They make you stronger and they are a fact of life. They are also always temporary as life never stays the same. If a plan doesn’t work out maybe it wasn’t meant to…. alter your path or have another go!

 

* BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF

 

You are you, unique and imperfect like every other human being. Focus on your positives and work on your negatives in stages. Everyone has an individual gift to give the world.
