Looking for a Vegan Caterer in London? It’s time for Shambhu’s! by Jessica Seletti
I have never been one of those girls who have dreamt of their wedding day since they were little, therefore when my husband proposed back in December 2009 I had no clue what I wanted it to be like. There was one thing I was sure of though: no meat at my wedding!
I just had to find a caterer, one who would make yummy vegan versions of my favourite Italian dishes like pizza and lasagna. Easier said than done of course. I soon found myself on the phone explaining what vegans do and don’t eat and that, no, they are not mad or anorexic. And I am glad I didn’t give up because I eventually found Shambhu’s.
Shambhu’s was founded by Nishma Shah in 2005, and since then they have been catering for vegan festivals and events, yoga classes, parties and weddings. Compassion and peace combined with tasty homemade food are Shambhu’s key to success; inspired from different cultures, their dishes are breath of fresh air for vegans, and an eye-opening meal experience for non-vegans who never thought that cruelty free food could be so delicious. Here is their menu.
The minimum order for the catering service is £50.00, but for those of you who would like to place smaller orders, Shambhu’s offer a special delivery service.
