Carob Fudge Pudding
2 ripe bananas
9 dates soaked overnight (with their soak water)
1 heaped tablespoon of raw carob powder
1 heaped tablespoon chia seeds
dash of natural vanilla essence
Blend everything, apart from the chia seeds, together in a food processor until a smooth consistancy. Transfer to a large bowl and mix in the chia seeds thenrefridgerate for several hours or overnight to allow the chia seeds to swell and for the pudding to become thick and firm.
Chia seeds contain high amounts of Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) these are necessary for keeping skin healthy and supple. Dry skin, wrinkling and conditions like eczema are linked to lack of EFAs.
