Veggie delights will include a Beet Burger – beetroot burger with handcut chips and homemade guacamole – squash stuffed with caramelized onions and spinach topped with Yorkshire cheese, and artichoke cakes coated in breadcrumbs and served with tomato relish.
“Vegetarians are often short changed on menus with only one choice or the usual bog standard offerings,” says Dan. “I wanted to stay away from the mushroom stroganoffs and veggie bakes and offer something more creative. Whilst our meat and fish are all locally sourced, our vegetables are worth shouting about too with all of them grown locally, and the chard, beans and salads grown at allotments just down the road in Newby.” Read more
