Minene Launches New Blog with Help from ‘Our Breast Friends’

During the campaign, Minene will be giving £1 from each ‘feeding’ item sold on www.minene.co.uk to The Breastfeeding Network, an independent source of support and information for breastfeeding women.

Minene are running a week long ‘Our Breast Friends’ campaign, alongside WABA World Breastfeeding Week, to help create chatter, support and awareness about breastfeeding.

The 7 day event launches on Thursday 1st August and will feature daily blogs from Mums, Mummy Bloggers and Breastfeeding Peer Support Counsellors, chatting about their experiences, advice to readers and personal anecdotes.

Mandi Morrison, Chair of the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Maternity Services Liaison Committee and Breast Feeding Peer Support, will be joining Minene for the event and telling readers of her own personal experiences.

“Breastfeeding is such an important start to a baby’s life; it has everything that is needed for each individual baby. As a mum who has breastfed all of my six children, initiatives likes World Breastfeeding Week are so important to normalise breastfeeding. It is vital that the message is put out there, Breastfeeding is a normal function and nearly every new mum can achieve it, although some will need more help and support than others.”

Minene are an innovative baby brand, established by 3 Mums, with a vision of creating well designed, practical yet stylish products for parents, babies and toddlers. They have a stylish range of products designed with breastfeeding in mind, including Supersize muslins, nursing shawls, nursing ponchos and more.
