Trill Summer Festival is one of a new breed of unashamedly small and non-commercial events, its heart firmly rooted in the native, natural pleasures to be found in its immediate surroundings. Each day of the festival offers a host of activities ranging from inspiring speakers and creative workshops to outdoor adventures and marvellous music.
At Trill Farm we work in harmony with nature to create an abundance of both cultivated and wild food which we share with you during the Summer Festival. Our food is a celebration of the diversity of harvest on the farm, and we value the care and attention that has gone into the growing, harvesting and preparation.
The vibrant Trill summer palette of ingredients includes shiny red tomatoes, crisp green beans, smooth purple aubergine, fiery red chilli, showy salad leaves, golden nasturtium flowers, raspberries, blackcurrants and strawberries, together with lamb, venison, barley and wild foragings of rocket, fat hen, alexanders, horseradish & blackberries. These are the foods you will enjoy during the festival.
The inspirational events and talks during Trill Summer Festival feed your imagination, whilst our food nourishes your body.
DAYTIME
During the day, the cafe will be serving organic brunch, lunch and snacks, along with refreshing drinks, tea, coffee, cake and ice cream. The bar will open in the early afternoon.
EVENING
The food we eat connects us to the soil and brings us together in a fun and meaningful way. In respect and appreciation of nature and the work that goes into preparing food, all evening meals have to be booked in advance. Please book at the bottom of this page. Whether you choose to book a main evening meal or bring your own food, we hope to all come together to eat in the main courtyard.
BARBECUE – THURSDAY
Sizzling, scrumptious, summer eating. Succulent wild roaming venison burgers, tender lamb cutlets, salty, chewy halloumi, an array of fresh salads, relishes and pickles. Whilst the delicious aromas waft across the courtyard from the barbecue we will be offering you tasters of Trill products.
Children's portions are available.
RAINBOW FEAST - FRIDAY
A colourful mezze created from the plants in Trill Farm Garden. Seven dishes with Red tomatoes, yellow corn, green beans, orange carrots, blue borage flowers, indigo aubergine and violet beetroot together with merguez sausages and local cheeses. A fun, informal, delicious feast for the senses.
Alternatively you could try a freshly prepared pizza served until 7pm.

Tantalise your tastebuds with a simple but stunning three course supper. A convivial occasion seated at long tables around the courtyard. Fresh flavoured food to satisfy and delight before you join the ceilidh to dance the night away.
