Good luck charms are nothing new, many people have special items they keep close to them which they feel has brought them luck. However, if you've never found anything that brings you luck (like me!) then you will probably love this!
I'm reading this oh so wonderful book at the moment and had to tell you about it now!
This fantastic video can really help you to view money in a more positive light, and explains that the universe does not actually want you to be poor!
As a kid, you find friends somewhat arbitrarily. You're best friends with your cousins, with the rando kid next door or you base friendships on the flimsiest of reasons."Hey - you like Smurfs, I like Smurfs - let's be best friends!"
When I was 20 or so, I lived in a grungy student flat in Sydney. I was from a small town so moving to Sydney was a big deal for me. I had upgraded from an even grungier flat where I lived in the shed outside for $50 a week, so this new place was virtually a palace in comparison. (That's another story entirely)
Out of all the personal development I've done - countless seminars, books, courses and of course working with coaches, one of the most useful and productive things I've done is to create success masterminds with like-minded people. Think of a mastermind like a success dream team. They will help you get where you want to go... faster.
Today's twinkle* I wanted to ask you are you praying worry? It is a very easy thing to do, to spend most of your waking hours worrying....should I do this? did I say that right? what will they think of me? can I afford that? what about that other thing?... The professional 'worrier' knows what I am talking about. In the quiet moments they find for themselves where they could be focusing on what they are grateful for and what they choose to create and what to do next on their projects...the little voice of worry can sneak in and wreak havoc ! It can turn your life and your quiet thoughts in to a worry prayer. So how can you change this?
Last weekend something happened to our carpets resulting in two giant, gross-smelling stains (I refuse to say what or who caused the stains, but let's say it wasn't me). We tried to clean it ourselves, using baking soda to soak on it overnight and then vacuuming. It shifted the stain somewhat but it was still visible and a little bit smelly. Every time I walked into the room, I could see it. It was in the back of my mind, just one of those little annoyances.
Check out page 60 of this month's Australian Cleo magazine to see a full page spread of yours truly, including the link to my book Lucky Bitch! I have to say it's the prettiest cover I've seen for a while, and yes, I'm incredibly biased, because I'm in it!
Positive thinking ! One of my personal favourites Some people will tell you yes it’s worked for me and some people will tell you no I just don’t get it. How is it that for some people it is effective and for others they can be literally left wanting? So why does it work for some and not for others…..well the answer is simple. But first let me just share something that surprised me until I actually thought about it… “Too much routine actually numbs your brain”
