Yet the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) won’t let you, or Robyn, or millions of people just like her, make informed consumer choices at the grocery store because current policy doesn’t require that genetically engineered foods be labeled. And while the verdict is still out on the impact of these ingredients, we should be able to decide for ourselves.
