I love my morning smoothies, it’s my favorite meal of the day and make such a big batch. It lasts for my breakfast and morning tea/lunch.
I used to make smoothies packed with so much stuff, but because I was so ill, a few months back, I found too many ingredients would make me very tired. If your digestive system is not working too well, as mine SO wasn’t and you eat heavy foods (healthy or not) you will instantly know if you can handle them by seeing how you feel afterwards. If I eat something too heavy, within minutes I feel super tired, eyes heavy and read for a nap! It can be very annoying if I am out to lunch for a meeting!
I have been drinking this amazing smoothie which I have adapted from other recipes from Ani Phyo and Sarma Mengalis Its so yummy! Creamy and smooth with a lime twist! The lime gives you loads of healing Alkaline juice!
I call it my Key Lime High (as in Key Lime Pie) but High because it makes me happy when I drink it!
