St Erasmus Spring Summer Collection 2010
I can finally show you the pictures we did for my favorite Jewelery designer!
This is the collection for next Spring/Summer of 2010.
St Erasmus jewelery is just amazing, so beautifully made, by Indian ladies who are paid fair wages and have great working conditions. This is very important to me as so much stuff that is made these days is by completely unethical measures.
I no longer look at cheap things and think oh wow great! In fact, the cheaper that things are getting really worries me as it is just causing more pressure on certain industries and people to keep up.
Fair prices are what we need, not ridiculously cheap. We all need to think, where did this come from, who made it and how were they treated?
Pieter the designer, has an incredible eye and just designs the most beautiful luxurious costume jewelery I have ever seen.
From the first piece that I ever saw, which was worn by Michelle Obama (please click on the tag below for St Erasmus for other posts) I completely fell in love with this jewelery. Mainly because it was just so stunning and so different yet did not cost thousands of pounds, which was actually the price range I was expecting!
Despite the look and high quality, the prices are quite affordable with pieces starting at approx £40 (for earrings and bracelets) The necklaces can be between approx £100 – 600 depending on the size and the workmanship that has gone into making them. Everything is made by hand, so very time consuming for the ladies and why its not dirt cheap – nor it should be, this stuff is a work of art!
The pieces are just so original and eye catching aren’t they?
We had a lovely team of ladies who helped with the photo shoot. Joanna Briggs was the photographer with Kim Roy on Hair and Sandra Bermingham on the makeup.
Such talented people and a fun day!
If you want to spoil someone you love, then take a look at St-Erasmus jewelery! It’s stunning, but made with a conscience!
By the way, these pictures were retouched, Jo has a great camera, used great lighting, I had an hour and a half in hair and makeup and I worked with a great team to make these pictures turn out well. It’s not how I look all day thats for sure.
My favorite pieces!
