written by Keerthana Karthik - There has been a growing importance and awareness about the need to protect and preserve our non-renewable natural resources and leave behind a cleaner and greener environment for our future generations to come. One way to achieve this goal is by being energy efficient. As the word implies, being energy efficient means utilizing a lesser amount of energy to perform the same work as well as indulging in a better quality of life. A simple example can be an energy efficient washer which provides the same utility, laundry, but by consuming much less energy than other washing machines.
