Simeon Farrar With People Tree Spring – Summer 2014
Simeon Farrar’s collaboration with People Tree takes inspiration from the core ethos of People Tree itself. People Tree’s commitment to Fair Trade and organic fashion is interpreted in different ways across this collection. Farrar uses very natural imagery and humour. Delicately drawn roses and leaves adorn the organic fabric, bold slogans like “My Heart Goes Bloom” nourish the soul. Together, they are designed to really highlight the link between people and the environment.
This is the second collaboration between the designer and People Tree with Farrar’s Black Score collaboration with People Tree selling online now for AW13. The focus this time sits in line with Simeon Farrar’s signature printing style evoking a more delicate print and romantic play on words.

“I’m really excited about this collaboration with People Tree as it gives me a chance to link the themes of nature and romance, which are often key points in our own collections, with the People Tree ethos of Fair Trade. There is an interesting thread that runs through this environmental ethic and the theme of ‘soul nourishment’ that we often play with.” Simeon Farrar
The 100% organic cotton collection is comprised of two rose print dresses, a rose print tassel t-shirt skirt and two styles of quirky print tees. Two of the dresses feature open back details.
