New York, NY (October 31, 2014) – Waterkeeper Alliance (WKA) the fastest growing global environmental movement, will celebrate its 15th year by helping to launch partner organization London Waterkeeper at an   intimate Crystal Anniversary Gala at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, England on November 7, 2014. Co-founder and President Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., will host the celebration with a special performance by the UK’s newest rising star Nick Gardner.

“Waterkeeper Alliance, in support of our more than 230 international Waterkeeper organizations, have spent the last fifteen years advocating for swimmable, drinkable, fishable waterways worldwide,” Waterkeeper Alliance Executive Director Marc Yaggi said. “From the foothills of the Himalayas to the banks of the Thames, we are excited about the future and thrilled to celebrate our history thus far. Our Gala will be an opportunity for us to thank the many people who support the cause of clean water, and to lay out our plans to double our size and protect 500 waterways in the coming years.”

Waterkeeper Alliance anticipates being joined by many notable guests including Mr. Kennedy, Jr., actress Cheryl HinesJeremy Wade, Josh Berger, and Mr. Gardner; and Susan Sarandon is the evening’s honorary co-chair.
